Elevate Digital filmed this short backcountry trout fly fishing video in remote New Zealand wilderness, capturing the scenery, water conditions and technical nature of fly fishing in a pristine river environment.
Filmed in true backcountry conditions, the project focused on showcasing the complete experience rather than simply the catch itself. From river crossings and casting through to crystal-clear water, wild trout and the surrounding landscape, the goal was to create a cinematic outdoor film that reflected the unique nature of fly fishing in New Zealand.
The final video captures the pace, challenge and beauty of backcountry fly fishing while highlighting the landscapes and wilderness environments that make New Zealand a world-class fishing destination.
